Our clients’ privacy is important to us.

Your Personal Information

The Dragonfly Society LLC collects personal information such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and sensitive personal information such as site username and password and credit card information (through a 3rd party) to use for:

* contacting you about appointments and other services you have enrolled in 

* contact you regarding promotions, special offers, new products and services

* contact you for check-ins that you have requested or that come with your package

* taxing purposes

* paying for purchased services

You have the right to opt out of this correspondence by clicking the unsubscribe link if one is provided OR by emailing karen@thedragonflysociety.com

Limited information is stored in Payhip (website provider) and MailerLite (email provider). Session notes, nudges, most forms, and messages are stored in our coaching platform, SimplyCoach. Payment information such as credit card information is through Stripe and is not recorded in any other place.

Personal data is collected at checkout and in newsletter opt-in forms.

A note about Children under 18: Parents are required to enroll their child in the desired services. Any contact between The Dragonfly Society LLC and a child will be part of a service initiated by the parent.  Information about the child will be collected via email and stored on the computer or will be obtained through a phone or video conference consultation and stored on paper in a file.

Privacy during Sessions, Workshops, etc.

The Coach agrees to keep all conversations and information with the Client private and confidential, as allowable by law. No personal information will be shared with anyone without the Client’s express permission. Exceptions may be made if there is an imminent threat of serious injury to oneself or someone else.

During group services, clients will be asked to come up with nicknames or non-identifying initials for those they want to speak about. For example, Joe Smith may be Joe loves music (JLM).

When working with children, every effort will be made to have students who go to different schools grouped together so there is minimal worry about children knowing each other or their friends.

Parents are not to sit in on group sessions as to provide privacy for the children of others. Virtual sessions will be recorded. In-person sessions will be held in a public space far from others.

You understand that the use of technology is not always secure and you accept the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text, phone, WhatsApp, Skype and any other technology.

Do Not Track

Because the industry does not have a uniform method to respond to “do not track” requests from browsers with this feature, we presently do not respond to “do not track” requests.  However, any request to not contact or not sell to will be considered an opt-out request under CCPA.
